Account Managers grow and retain a book of business and are responsible for building strong client relationships, coordinating with leadership and internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients' needs, and identifying opportunities to grow our business. We’re remote-first with a significant number of employees residing in California and Portugal.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients and work collaboratively with our Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product teams to efficiently fulfill client needs.

  • Participate in new business meetings and develop impactful and trusting relationships with clients

  • Conduct regular and thorough research on assorted topics, flagging news updates for teams/clients.

  • Partner with senior managers on achieving deliverables for concurrent projects

  • Create, edit, and proofread materials including press releases, blog content, pitches, fact sheets, FAQs, briefing notes, and client correspondence. 

  • Ensure all relevant client assets are delivered, reviewing all work for quality

  • Propose new ways to improve account growth through clear understanding of clients’ objectives and goals

  • Manage client expectations, bringing concerns to the clients' attention before they become issues, and perceive obstacles as an opportunity to engage, consult, and deliver value.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a results-driven environment

  • Understanding of digital marketing, measurement and analytics, and content management

  • At least 5 years of account experience preferably within an agency or B2B verticals 

  • Experienced with various aspects of integrated communications (media relations, social media, creative, brand integration, talent integration)

  • Strong decision-making abilities and accountability; this is a key role, own it!

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, Google Apps, project management software (Monday, Asana, etc.)

  • Previous experience working with & managing teams in multiple locations
