We’re remote-first with a significant number of employees residing in California and Portugal.

We are seeking a Head of People to own the entirety of the Web3 Pro™ employee experience, from how we recruit great talent, onboarding and employee benefits strategies, and finally, to their training and advancement within the company. We are committed to being a remote-first organization, which has allowed for work from home flexibility, but has also come with new challenges - from having increasingly blurry boundaries between "work" and "life," to building supportive and human relationships in a fully remote world.

You'll partner closely with our executive team and leaders across the organization to implement creative and tactical ways of thinking through the People-related challenges of the remote-first experience for our teammates. You love to bring creativity to your work to develop a world-class, mission- and values-driven culture, as well as teaching others and helping your team succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learn about our core values, mission, and company goals and how best to evangelize them internally and in the recruiting process

  • Develop our People strategy that meets both the growth needs of our business and helps to manage all day-to-day employee relations issues

  • Lead managers and individual team members to develop and evolve our employee experience through processes that span across the employee lifecycle (interviewing, onboarding, transfers, relocations, and off-boarding)

  • Review all dimensions of our compensation philosophy and practices to ensure alignment with core principles, and fairness and equity in their implementation

  • Train the organization on how to effectively partner with People to yield the best outcomes, gaining buy-in and commitment across the organization

  • Be a valued and sought-after leader in our company, someone both leadership and your teammates trust to deliver on goals, provide sound counsel on organizational design, and contribute effectively to company strategy

Desired skills:

  • At least 5 years of leadership experience with full-cycle recruiting across a variety of skillsets

  • Experience sourcing and closing profiles ranging from entry-level to senior management positions, across engineering and business teams. Relentless drive to find and connect with exceptional talent

  • Substantial experience and understanding of the employee lifecycle, HR, compensation, DEIB, and employee retention

  • Analytical and data-driven; ability to influence decision-making through data. Ability to serve as an advisor and coach across the organization, bringing technical credibility and fluency

  • Ability to operate well in a fast-moving environment and provide team clarity in ambiguous situations

  • Exceptional teamwork, communication (written and verbal) and multi-tasking skills

  • Proficient with MS Office, LinkedIn, Slack, and project management tools
